By division

An outstanding visual arts program.

From painting and pasting to printmaking and sculpture, students grow as artists at every stage.

Preschool

Preschoolers express themselves with traditional and non-traditional art media, learning about color and texture while practicing fine motor skills through painting, coloring, cutting, pasting, and mixing. They discover that art is fun, and that they can make art out of anything.

Elementary

Elementary students take art every week and discover many media. They can also join Art Club after school, and each spring 3rd-5th graders enter their work in the NCCSA Fine Arts Competition, where they can win ribbons.

Middle & High School

Because middle and high school art classes are electives, developing artists enjoy smaller class sizes and the chance to explore drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and collage.

Showcasing student work.

Competitions are also a way for students to see artwork from across our community, state, and nation.
